Dr Megan Crumbaker is a medical oncologist sub-specialised in prostate and testis cancers at the Kinghorn Cancer Centre, St Vincent’s Sydney. She also has a passion for research in this area and has a PhD in prostate cancer research and continues her research through the Kinghorn and the Garvan Institute. The primary focus of her research is improving treatment outcomes for men with prostate cancer by developing new therapeutic strategies and identifying DNA/gene-based markers that help tailor treatments to each individual.
Dr Crumbaker is leading multiple clinical trials in prostate cancer and has several published papers in the area. She has expertise in managing men on a variety of prostate and testis cancer treatments, including newer therapies like Lutetium PSMA and PARP inhibitors.
