Lachlan is a Clinical Psychology Registrar with a background in both adult and paediatric cancer care services. Lachlan is trained and experienced in using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in clinical practice, tailoring therapeutic approaches to fit individual client needs. He is passionate about access to mental healthcare and advocating for the reduction of stigma around accessing psychological health services, especially for men.
Tracy comes from a corporate and hospitality backgrounds and she brings a wealth of experience in delivering excellent customer service. Tracy assisted with the development of COVID screening protocols for the St Vincent hospital and worked in administrative roles at the Garvin Institute Diabetes Centre and the Kinghorn Cancer Centre Oncology Department.
‘My key role is overseeing the daily administrative requirements of the centre and coordinate patients care with other health services. I enjoy working closely with a great team that supports each other on a day-to-day basis. Every day brings something new which makes the work interesting and rewarding when you see the positive outcomes for our clients.
Luke is a Men’s Health physiotherapist with a background in prostate cancer services and male urological conditions. He is trained and experienced in real-time ultrasound assessment for pelvic floor function and implements additional evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes from various treatments. He is passionate about improving access to physiotherapy services and enhancing quality of life.
Kammy is a Registered Nurse with neurosurgery and ICU background, she was a nursing officer in the Royal Australian Navy and has over 10 years’ experience in managing health services. Kammy is passionate about providing high standard person-centred care that is affordable, accessible and meet the patient’s needs.
Russell comes to us with a strong nursing background. He started nursing in 2008 with a keen motivation to support and help people who are unwell. Russell’s nursing career spans 16 years with a strong background in the surgical and oncology fields. Over these years Russell developed a strong passion in prostate cancer. More recently, Russell has worked as a prostate cancer specialist nurse supporting men with prostate cancer and their families. Russell has training, knowledge and experience in continence rehabilitation, penile rehabilitation and psycho- social issues relating to prostate cancer, especially in relation to quality of life.
‘Supporting men going through the life changing event of prostate cancer requires a team effort. There are various care needs of patients that require addressing. The Men’s Health Centre incorporates various arms of the allied health care team, centralising care and addressing those needs’
Erin is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with years of clinical experience and has most recently worked with elderly, disabled and rehabilitation clients. Erin understands the nutrition challenges faced by patient’s with prostate cancer and is passionate about helping them through their journey. She believes that a holistic approach and compassion fosters the best care for patients.
